Brown appeal accepted

Danielle Brown is due to have her disability classification re-assessed. The archer, who was not classified as a para-athlete under World Archery’s new rules brought in last November, has had her appeal accepted by World Archery and will be re-tested by two independent assessors. If she should fail this second classification test, she is likely to lose her funding from UK Sport as she was put on a four-month notice period following her original re-classification. Archery GB has stated it remains hopeful that Danielle Brown will still be able to compete in para-archery competition.
