Archery growth quantified

A report has been published that highlights exactly how much archery spiked in popularity over 2012. Caddis Interactive analysed keyword and content searches for ‘archery’ and archery-related topics. The report found that there was an increase in archery-related news stories from 2008 to 2012. Web coverage of archery had remained fairly low until the 2008 Olympic games, after which archery coverage increased. Search spikes for archery coincided with the release of The Hunger Games, as well as during the 2012 Olympics. The United States and New Zealand tied at the top for having the most searches for the keyword ‘archery’ between 2010 and 2012, with Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada rounding out the top five.
